 Decorative Finishes
Tracy taught herself to paint decorative finishes when she began renting places to live that she found undesirable and boring. She discovered that with a can of paint, some glazing, and some imagination, she could create a beautiful space on her own. This skill developed over the years as she began painting faux finishes for clients and honing her technique with the work she did as a scenic artist. Today, Tracy is an expert colorist who can come up with endless finishes, techniques, and color combinations to come up with a wall treatment that works perfectly in the space. A room that would be other wise boring or unremarkable becomes a work of art in itself that compliments the surroundings.
Tracy and the Environment
Tracy has a deep concern for our environment and is conscious of this in everything she does. She uses natural pigments or Eco-friendly paints whenever possible and even uses a line that has aromatherapy additives (yes, the paint actually smells good!)
She believes in using your existing belongings whenever possible, even if it means altering them with paint or other materials, to avoid waste. If there is something she can use in a space that is recycled or reclaimed, she will always find a way to make it work. She loves to work with interior surface items that are environmentally friendly and long lasting. Murals Tracy’s background as a scenic theater artist and with decorative finishes makes her a proficient mural painter as well. Whatever the style, from country to landscape to contemporary to tromp l’eiol, Tracy will listen to the client’s wishes to conceptualize a mural that is perfect for the space it will exist in. If you have a place for a mural, she can come up with something amazing to go there. Others have used her skills for places where nothing else seems to work, from small bathrooms to exterior retaining walls to ceilings.

| Interior Design Tracy has a natural ability for interior design and in working with you on a level that is very personal and honest. She strives to make your surroundings the most attractive they can be, but always keeping in mind that it is you that lives there, not the designer. Tracy will work with you on existing construction or design in the planning phase, or in updating or renovating older spaces. From space planning to lighting design, window treatments or furniture design. Tracy has the experience and talent to handle all your needs.  |
